CLMP is thrilled to present a virtual reading of authors published by the winner and finalists honored by the Constellation Award! Winner La Impresora and finalists FlowerSong Press and Kaya Press will come together on April 27 at 6 PM ET to share their work and celebrate independent publishers that champion the writing of people of color.
Underwritten by Penguin Random House, the annual Constellation Award is given to honor an independent literary press that is led by and/or champions the writing of people of color, including Black, Indigenous, Latinx, and Asian American & Pacific Islander (AAPI) individuals for excellence in publishing.
This bilingual event will feature English and Spanish speakers, as well as English and Spanish versions of each literary work read by participating authors.
