She received fellow- ships from Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, Fine Arts Work Center & Poets House. Raised in New Taipei City, Taiwan, she lives in NYC.
Zahra Patterson, an educator from Brooklyn, writes strange fiction, satirical drama, & serious nonfiction. She is the author of Chronology (Ugly Duckling Presse, 2018) & a CLMP Face Out fellow. In a past era, she created & directed Raw Fiction, a one-time (done twice) youth literary arts project.
