Cafe Muse: W. Luther Jett & Nomi Stone

Cafe Muse is a longstanding, monthly reading series in downtown Bethesda, MD, featuring widely recognized poets. It is sponsored by The Word Works (www.wordworksbooks.org) and hosted by the Writer's Center (www.writer.org). The Word Works is a non-profit literary organization publishing contemporary poetry, including translations, and sponsoring programs and contests for more than 40 years. The Writer's Center has been hosting and providing literary porgams and workshops in the Washington DC area since 1976.

Poets W. Luther Jett and Nomi Stone will read from their work, and an open mic will follow. The evening starts with classical guitar by Michael C. Davis and includes refreshments. Featured readings start at 7:30pm. The Writer's Center is about a 10-minute walk from Metro Rail's Bethesda stop on the Red Line. It is handicap accessible. There is ample, meter-fed or pay-by-app parking on a lot across the street.
