The 23rd Annual Watershed Environmental Poetry Festival

Poetry, talk, and a walk along beautiful Strawberry Creek through UC Berkeley and its underground path through downtown Berkeley to the Watershed Festival at Civic Center Park. Led by poet/eco-educator Chris Olander, with readings along the way by poets Robert Coats, Iris Jamahl Dunkle, Joan Gelfand, and Maya Khosla, Sonoma County Poet Laureate and wildlife biologist, with nature commentary by Tim Pine, UC Berkeley Environmental Health and Safety, and Eco-Dance in the Eucalyptus Grove, “Warm Wind Before the Rain,” with Sharon Coleman and Barry Ebner on acoustic guitar. Meet in the Cypress Grove, often called Redwood Grove (southeast corner of Oxford at Center, near the World Globe sculpture as you enter campus).
