Today’s Dear Poet video features Academy of American Poets Chancellor Jane Hirshfield, author of two new books this week: The Beauty: Poems (Alfred A. Knopf, 2015) and Ten Windows: How Great Poems Transform the World (Alfred A. Knopf, 2015), a collection of essays.
Her other books of poetry include Come, Thief (Alfred A. Knopf, 2011); After (HarperCollins, 2006); and Given Sugar, Given Salt (HarperCollins, 2001), which was a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award.
