Sara Elkamel

Sara Elkamel is a poet and translator. She earned her MA in arts journalism from Columbia University and her MFA in poetry from New York University. 

Elkamel is the author of the poetry chapbooks Garden City (Beloit Poetry Journal, 2025) and Field of No Justice (African Poetry Book Fund & Akashic Books, 2021), and the translator of Dalia Taha’s Enter World (Graywolf Press, 2026). 

Elkamel lives in Cairo.
