Peggy Ryan

Peggy Ryan is a marketing and communications strategist and photographer with extensive experience supporting cultural organizations. She has held marketing leadership and consulting roles with The Old Globe, San Diego Repertory Theatre, Chautauqua Theater Company, Diversionary Theatre, the Folger Shakespeare Library, the San Diego Italian Film Festival, and the Ojai Playwrights Conference. Her photography has appeared in the Los Angeles Times, Washington Post, San Diego Union–Tribune, and American Theatre magazine.

Ryan holds a master of arts in management from Carnegie Mellon University, a master’s in innovation and organization of culture and the arts from the University of Bologna, and a bachelor’s degree in theater from the University of California, San Diego. She has taught marketing and communications at Johns Hopkins University, San Diego State University, the University of Bologna, and the University of Applied Sciences in Kufstein, Austria.
