Alice Guthrie
Alice Guthrie is a British translator, editor, and curator specializing in contemporary Arabic literature. She represents a group of authors at the Berlin-based Arabic literary agency tenevelen, and teaches Arabic-English translation at various institutions including the University of Exeter (UK). Her translation of Gazan writer Atef Abu Saif’s story “The Lottery” won the Jules Chametzky Translation Prize from The Massachusetts Review in 2019.
