New York, NY (February 23, 2022)— In alliance with the Amazon Literary Partnership, the Academy of American Poets invites poetry organizations and presses to submit applications for grants from the Poetry Fund, which will be awarded in 2022. The Amazon Literary Partnership launched the Poetry Fund with the Academy of American Poets in 2018 to further its role as a supporter of poetry organizations nationwide. The Academy of American Poets grant-making panel this year includes Tina Cane, Anthony Cody, and Nicole Terez Dutton.
Grant applications are being accepted now through April 15. Final award decisions will be made by the Amazon Literary Partnership in tandem with the Academy and announced in June 2022.
