POET-LINC! Calling all poets, rappers, songwriters, performers, writers and everything in between! This is a FREE spoken word program for teens between the ages of 13 and 19.
Last year’s Poet-Linc program was wonderful and we can’t wait for this upcoming season with an even more diverse mix of poets.

Highlights from Last year:o Last year’s showcase had 300 audience members filling Lincoln Center’s Rubenstein Atrium to watch 26 teens perform live. With engagement through social media channels, the performance reached an additional 96,500 people around the world. o Three alumni competed in the 2015 NYC Teen Poetry Grand Slam Finalso Four poets performed at the St. Louis Shakespeare Festivalo Four poets shared their poetry at a conference for youth workers at John Jay College and then at “One Culture of Creative Expression” at the Queens Museum. o Poets from our sister program at Passages Academy shared their poetry at conferences at John Jay College and the Queens Museum and were featured on Chirlane’s McCray’s blog #FLONYC.o Poets participated at the Teens Take the MET events.o Two Poets opened for the Former Youth Laureate at Snug Harbor Cultural Center.
