Featuring: Gary Dop, a hilarious poet who has the ability to make us laugh and break our hearts simultaneously, will feature excerpts of his debut collection, Father, Child, Water. Steve Langan, a poet known for telling it like it is with delicate details and piercing precision, will be sharing excerpts of his collection, What It Looks Like, How It Flies. Ramón García will reinvent familiar fairytales, Bible stories, and Greek myths as he reads from his latest collection, The Chronicles. Elena Karina Byrne, praised for her graceful and lyrically complex verses exploring the raw psychological densities of contemporary experience, will also share her work. Hélène Cardona, poet and actress who writes about consciousness, moderates the evening. Her latest book is Dreaming My Animal Selves.
