Nimrod Conference for Readers and Writers

Join Nimrod International Journal for an all-day writing conference with workshops in fiction, poetry, memoir, mystery, young adult fantasy, writing queries and synopses for literary agents, and more. The day also includes one-on-one editing sessions with the Nimrod board of editors, readings, and panel discussions. Key guests include National Book Award finalist Angela Flournoy, author of The Turner House, and Robin Coste Lewis, author of Voyage of the Sable Venus, which won the 2015 National Book Award for Poetry. Also joining the conference will be fiction writer Toni Jensen, author of From the Hilltop: Stories, which was published in 2010 through the Native Storiers Series at the University of Nebraska Press; poet Chloe Honum, author of The Tulip-Flame; memoir writer Beth Kephart, author of A Slant of Sun; mystery writer Will Thomas, author of Anatomy of Evil; young adult writer Brenna Yovanoff, author of The Replacement; and romance writer Sherry Thomas, author of The Hidden Blade. They will join over thirty other writers and editors.

The cost of the workshop is $60. Scholarships are also available.
