Winner of the 2016 Ruth Lilly Poetry Prize for lifetime achievement, Roberson is the author of 10 books of poetry, most recently To See the Earth Before the End of the World (Wesleyan University Press, 2010). A Shelley Memorial Award winner, Jackson is the author of numerous plays, novels and poetry collections, including the National Book Award-nominated And All These Roads Be Luminous: Poems Selected and New (1998).
