Nikay Paredes

Nikay Paredes, Programs Manager, is the author of the chapbook collections Reclamations (Vagabond Press, 2017) and We Will See the Scatter (dancing girl press, 2014), which won first prize in the 2015 Maningning Miclat Poetry Competition. She received a BFA in creative writing from Ateneo de Manila University and an MFA in poetry from Sarah Lawrence College. Her poems have appeared in Drunken Boat, Tuesday: An Art Project, As/Us, and The Missing Slate. In 2019, she received a certificate for completing the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs' and CUNY School of Professional Studies' CreateNYC: Leadership Accelerator program.
