Ming Di

Ming Di was born and raised in China. She is the author of River Merchant’s Wife (Marrick Press, 2012), which she translated from the Chinese with Toby Barnstone, Neil Aitken, Afaa Michael Weaver, Katie Farris, and Sylvia Burn. She is also the author of six books of poetry in Chinese and the translator of several books of Chinese poetry, including Liu Xia’s Empty Chairs—Poems (Graywolf Press, 2015), which she translated with Jennifer Stern. She lives in California.
