Maya Phillips is the author of Erou (Four Way Books, 2019). She received her BFA in writing, literature, and publishing with a concentration in poetry from Emerson College and her MFA in poetry from Warren Wilson College. She is a former content editor at the Academy of American Poets and now works as a freelance culture writer and web producer at The New Yorker.
