Viktor Neborak

Viktor Neborak is a poet, writer, literary scholar, and critic. His collection The Flying Head and Other Poems, translated by Michael M. Naydan, was published in English in 2005.

Neborak is a founding member (along with Yuri Andrukhovych and Oleksandr Irvanets) of the Bu-Ba-Bu literary performance group, a trio of Ukranian poets who focused on creating a new literary identity and broke with Ukraine’s literary icons, elders whom the group characterized by their nationalism, by mocking them through verse. 

Neborak lives in Lviv.
