Robert Laidler

Robert Laidler is a Black poet. He earned his MFA from the University of Michigan’s Helen Zell Writers’ Program. In 2023, Laidler was a finalist for both the National Poetry Series and Driftwood Press’s Adrift Chapbook Contest. An assistant professor of teaching at Wayne State University, he lives in Brownstown, Michigan.
