Katherine E. Young

Katherine E. Young has studied at Smith College and the University of Maryland. She is the author of Day of the Border Guards (University of Arkansas Press, 2014), which was a finalist for the 2014 Miller Williams Arkansas Poetry Prize. She is also an award-winning translator of Russian-language poems and prose. In 2016, Young was selected as the inaugural poet laureate of Arlington County. She lives in Arlington, Virginia.
