Hrayr Varaz

Hrayr Varaz is a queer, Western Armenian poet and earned his BA in linguistics from the University of California, Los Angeles, and his PhD from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Varaz is the author of #jivjiv language #ճիվճիվ լեզու (2024) and #jivjiv #twitterpoem #ճիվճիվ #դwիթըռփօըմ ( 2022), both self-published and illustrated by Amy Kazandjian. Varaz lives in San Francisco, on unceded Ramaytush Ohlone land.
