George Bilgere
George Bilgere earned his PhD in English literature from Denver University.
Bilgere is the author of numerous poetry collections, including Cheap Motels of My Youth (Rattle Press, 2024) and Central Air (University of Pittsburgh Press, 2022).
Bilgere is the recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship, a Fulbright Fellowship, a Witter Bynner Fellowship, and a Pushcart Prize. A professor of English at John Carroll University, he lives in Cleveland Heights, Ohio.
