Bettina Judd
Bettina Judd earned a BA in English and comparative women’s studies, and both an MA and a PhD in women’s studies from the University of Maryland.
Judd is the author of the poetry collection patient. (Black Lawrence Press, 2014), which engages the legacy of medical experimentation on Black women in the United States, and the scholarly work Feelin: Creative Practice, Pleasure, And Black Feminist Thought (Northwestern University, 2022).
An associate professor of gender, women, and sexuality studies at the University of Washington, Judd lives between the Pacific Northwest and Maryland.
