Karen Skolfield

Karen Skolfield is the author of Battle Dress (W. W. Norton, 2019) and Frost in the Low Areas (Zone 3 Press, 2013), winner of the 2014 PEN/New England Award in Poetry. Her other awards include the 2018 Barnard Women Poets Prize.

A U.S. Army veteran, Skolfield teaches writing to engineering students at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and lives in Amherst.
