Truman State University Press publishes 10 to 12 titles per year, primarily in the areas of early modern studies, regional studies, poetry, and significant works for the educated general public. It administers the T. S. Eliot Prize for Poetry, which is an annual award for the best unpublished book-length collection of poetry in English, in honor of T. S. Eliot's considerable intellectual and artistic legacy.
