The Mount Pleasant Poetry Project is hosting a neighborhood poetry adventure throughout Washington, D.C. To participate, write a poem and drop it off in one of the Poem Dropbox Locations.

Association of Writers & Writing Programs Conference
The AWP Conference & Bookfair for writers, teachers, students, editors, and publishers is the largest literary conference in North America. This year's conference will take place March 30 to April 2 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Last year's conference featured over 2,000 presenters and 550 readings, panels, and craft lectures.

Wandering Words: Sidewalk Poetry Competition
The Muscatine County Arts Council in Iowa is holding the Wandering Words Sidewalk Poetry Competition for National Poetry Month. All residents of Muscatine County are eligible to submit up to two poems. The winning poems will be stamped into Muscatine sidewalk pavement and will be considered for other public purposes, including publication and readings.

Coffee Cup Poetry
The Cotuit Library in Massachusetts is inviting people to share their stanzas on a cardboard coffee cup insulator throughout March. At the beginning of April, all of the coffee cup poetry will be delivered to a market. During the month of April, when someone orders a coffee it will come enveloped in a poem.
