from It's Time

The bird

called tomorrow

extends into

infinite presence

Its beak peeks

in & out of

an open cage

appearing to

be large &

too small

We have already

flown w/o

knowing what

it was called

About this Poem

“A few years ago I was involved in an accident that impacted my memory in troubling yet interesting ways. It’s Time is a project that explores the subjectivity of time, memory, and the wider social implications of how the momentary is perceived.”
