It is the mission of the Ucross Foundation to foster fresh and innovative thinking in the visual arts, literature, and music by providing residencies, work space and uninterrupted time to individual artists, writers, and composers. Situated on a 20,000-acre working cattle ranch, the Ucross Foundation's unique geographic location introduces individuals to the land, people and ethos of the northern High Plains and Rocky Mountain region. There are two residency sessions annually. There is no fee for a residency.
