Joy Priest

Joy Priest is the author of the collection Horsepower (Pitt Poetry Series, 2020), winner of the Donald Hall Prize for Poetry, and the editor of Once a City Said: A Louisville Poets Anthology (Sarabande Books, 2024). The recipient of fellowships and prizes from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, and the American Poetry Review, she is originally from Louisville and currently lives in Houston.
