State Poet Laureate
In 2023, Kerri Webster was appointed the state Writer in Residence for a two year term. She is author of four poetry collections, including Lapis (Wesleyan University Press, 2022) and The Trailhead (Wesleyan University Press, 2018).
Moscow
In 2023, Stacy Boe Miller was appointed as the poet laureate of Moscow, Idaho. Hodgin will serve a three-year term.
Boise

Alexandra Teague is the author of the poetry collections The Wise and Foolish Builders (Persea Books, 2015) and Mortal Geography (Persea Books, 2010), which which won the 2009 Lexi Rudnitsky First Book Prize in Poetry and the 2010 California Book Award.
Ron McFarland is the author of Subtle Thieves (Pecan Grove Press, 2012) and Stranger in Town: New and Selected Poems (Confluence Press, 2000), among others. He teaches at the University of Idaho.
Poet Robert Wrigley received the Kingsley Tufts Award for his collection Reign of Snakes
