Sheryl Woodruff
Sheryl Woodruff is a nonprofit leader who has served humanities- and community-based organizations in both programmatic and fundraising roles. Before joining the Academy of American Poets as its Director of Development, Sheryl served as the deputy director of the Washington Square Park Conservancy where she oversaw external affairs, including advancement and donor relations. Previously, she served with Village Preservation, the Paley Center for Media, and the Connecticut Historical Society. She has served on numerous nonprofit boards, including the Neighborhood Preservation Center, St. Mark’s Historic Landmark Fund, and the Remember the Triangle Fire Coalition.
Sheryl holds an MA in history from the University of Connecticut and a BA in English from Boston University.
