Lisa Fishman

Lisa Fishman earned a BA in English from Michigan State University and an MFA in creative writing from Western Michigan University.

Fishman is the author of seven books, including Mad World, Mad Kings, Mad Composition (Wave Books, 2020) and 24 Pages and other poems (Wave Books, 2015). Her work has also appeared in numerous anthologies, including The Arcadia Project: North American Postmodern Pastoral (Ahsahta, 2012), edited by Joshua Corey and G. C. Waldrep; The Ecopoetry Anthology (Trinity University Press, 2013), edited by Ann Fisher-Wirth and Laura-Gray Street; and Not for Mothers Only (Fence Books, 2007), edited by Catherine Wagner and Rebecca Wolff.

Fishman is an associate professor in English and the director of the poetry program at Columbia College Chicago and lives in Orfordville, Wisconsin.
