Jon Loomis

Jon Loomis grew up in Athens, Ohio. He received his BA in Creative Writing from Ohio University and an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Virginia. He is the author of The Mansion of Happiness (Oberlin College Press, 2016), The Pleasure Principle (2001), and Vanitas Motel (1998). He has received fellowships from the Ohio Arts Council and the Virginia Commission for the Arts. He is an Associate Professor of English at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
